| Nisha Mandani, Founder of Our Aim Foundation completed her Masters in Special Education from Adelphi University Long Island NY, she was an Educator/ Evaluator for over a decade with NYC Board of education New York. She has been an active Volunteer with Hospice, Red Cross and Mease Hospital for over a decade. She was invited by UAE congress to speak in Arab Children health Congress 2006. She was awarded “Business Women of the Year 2010 by Indo US Chamber of Commerce. Bay News 9 awarded her with a Everyday Hero in recognition for her outstanding contribution towards making a difference in our community. Elder affairs of Tallahassee have honored her with a “Golden Choice Award” for embracing our forgotten elders. |

George Felos is a native New Yorker and Florida resident since 1977, Felos is
best known for his work as lead attorney in the Terri Schiavo case a multi-year
struggle to end the artificial feeding of a vegetative young woman.
He attended Gettysburg College, received a cum laude B. A. from Queens College
and a Juris Doctor degree from Boston University School of Law..
Since 1991, Felos has been a patient volunteer with the Hospice of the Florida
Suncoast, Inc., the largest non-profit Hospice in the world. He served on its
Board of Directors for nine years, from 1996-1998 served as Board Chair, and
provides pro bono legal help to Hospice patients and their families. He was
also a founding member of the National Legal Advisors Committee on Choice in
Dying. He currently serves as a director and on the Executive Committee for
Project Grace, a charitable organization dedicated to professional and lay
education in end-of-life planning.
He is the author of the non-fiction book, Litigation as Spiritual Practice
He has frequently appeared on numerous television and radio programs including
NBC’s Today Show, ABC’s Nightline and Good Morning America, CBS’s Early Show,
CNN’s Larry King Live, Wolf Blitzer, and Anderson Cooper 360, Fox’s O’Reilly
Factor, Hannity and Colmes, and Greta Van Susteran, MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris
Matthews and The Rachel Maddow Show, Court TV’s Catherine Crier Live, Inside
Edition, PBS’s All Things Considered, BBC Radio, New Zealand Public Radio,
Brazilian Radio, and Radio Argentina. He has appeared in television news
features in Italy and the Netherlands, and has been quoted in various newspaper
and magazine articles around the world. |

Teen Volunteer specialist Suncoast Hospice
Jill-Anne Fowler holds a Master’s Degree in American Culture Studies and a B.A. in English and Secondary Education. Jill is a Teen Volunteer Specialist in Volunteer Services with Suncoast Hospice, and she coordinates the Suncoast Hospice Teen Volunteer Program for Mid-Pinellas County. Before coming to Suncoast Hospice, Jill coordinated disaster relief trips, mainly to the Gulf Coast for Hurricane Katrina relief, for high school and college students. She has also worked as a service-learning coordinator and volunteer coordinator with college and high school programs.

Attended Business Training International, Inc received Secretarial Science Diploma, Computer Science/Data Entry Diploma, attended Volunteer Administration American Red Cross course, Washington, DC, completed Public Affairs I, Public Affairs II, Leadership Training and Frontline Leadership. Provided leadership and management to over 200+ volunteers and staff. Ensured all the Red Cross programs and services within the unit’s jurisdiction were carried out. Awards received: Pinellas County Sheriffs Dept, Community Award, American Red Cross, Spirit of Excellence in Management, Springtime City Kiwanis of Clearwater, Community Service Award, National Safety Council, First Place School Safety (Bus Stop Safety).

She worked in the Marketing Department of AT&T for 10 years in both consumer and business marketing including the Delta Air Lines national account. Currently, Jennie works for the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida as the Adult Recruitment & Retention Manager. Jennie has a marketing undergraduate degree and an MBA. She is married with one son.

I am a born and raised New Yorker, and my family is descended from the Dominican Republic. I am a Graduate of Lehman College in the Bronx with a bachelor’s degree in Recreational Educational and a minor in Health Education. I have held many supervisor positions in several recreation organizations such as Police Athletic League, Boys & Girls Club, YMCA, Roberto Clemente and Riverbank State Parks and now the Boy Scouts of America. I have been a scout since the age of 7 but didn’t make Eagle Scout, but always one in heart.
I have been working for the Boy Scouts of America for 6 years and the first 4 years have been in New York with the Greater New York Council, and now I am a Senior District Executive for the West Central Florida Council. I have been living in Florida for the past year and half, married for 6 years and have two daughters, Soraya and Analia and now I can official say that I am a Floridian cause I just moved into my house. I love to give back to my community cause the love will be given back in many ways.

Abhi Janamanchi has served as the senior minister of the Unitarian Universalists of Clearwater Florida congregation since 1999. A native of India, Abhi came to the US in 1994 to pursue theological studies at Meadville Lombard Theological School in Chicago, IL.
Abhi has been actively involved in international, interfaith organizations for many years. He served as President of the International Association of Religious Freedom (IARF), the world’s oldest interfaith organization headquartered in Osaka, Japan.
Abhi was the 2009 recipient of the Gardner Beckett Jr. Friend of Civil Liberties award by the Pinellas County ACLU chapter.
Abhi and his family live in Safety Harbor, FL.

1. Ishan Mandani native New Yorker presently residing in Florida currently attends Inter Baccalaureate Program at Palm Harbor University High School. He is an outstanding student. Since childhood Ishan's has a special bonding and passion towards elderly. He would patiently listen to their stories and enjoys their company, this life learning experiences made him very empathetic & compassion human being. Since the age of 9, he would visit Hospice residents and buy gifts for the Hospice residents from his savings. He was awarded at the top of the Hospice donor tree. He volunteers at Red Cross where he was bestowed with Hero's title. Ishan has also been a volunteer for Mease hospital to assist Homebound Sick old seniors with their medication and grocery shopping. His academic excellence and extraordinary empathetic qualities have earned him several awards. 2010: resident’s volunteer Service award (5yrs in a row). 2010: “Math Moves You” Essay award. 2009: Duke University Academically talented award. 2009: national society for the Gifted and talented. 2008: Young achiever award by South Asian Excellence Award (SAEA) which was telecast by Sony T.V over 26 countries. 2008: Young achiever award by International Leadership Network (ILN) from 7 countries. 2008: Young Achiever award by CAIR. 2008: USAA national Minority Leadership Award. 2008: Recognition at Dunedin city Hall by mayor 2007: State Award of High honors by John Hopkins University. 2005-2006: Summer camps at John Hopkins University and Le Rosey School in Switzerland. Ishan had an opportunity to be a sports ambassador from U.S.A for people to people ambassador program. He visited Australian, New Zealand & Fiji Island. Ishan's travel experience to India, China, Africa, Egypt, Turkey, Middle East, Europe, South & North America has broaden his vision of understanding different cultures, which taught him diversity, is strength.
